more cone on the 12" wins the loudness battle if they are the same sub....

D2 = 1 or 4

D1 = .5 or 2

D4 = 2 or 8

:-)

will do, question tho, the rms is 800, i figure it can do a little more, how would a hifonics brutus bxi series bxi1206d amp do on it. it does 1200 rms at 1 ohm but its overrated i hear and only does abuot 80% of what it says it can do. would it be fine for the SSD tho?

the 2500 is IMO a better multi purpose woofer. good sealed box proformance and excellent ported box proformance. very underrated very good build quatitly and alot of expensive tooling. they easily handle 1K clean for musical purposes and can handle many times more for comps both therminal and mechinal. www.low-hz.com has them and ther authorized. very soon i will be reviewing hte 2512 and i will try to purshase a SSD because of the interest it poses.
