they are very musical that means they sound super good, but they dont get too loud but resonable loud

I heard a set of SWX1042D's.. custom enclosure to alpine specs running on 2 PDX-1.1000's and they sounded like type-r's with a higher distortion to them at high volume :\

not worth the money, unless you get a really great deal on them. i'd take a pair of r's over the x's. you have a budget for subs?

i'd take type Xs over Rs anyday. the type r doesn't even compare to the type x in sq. only downside of the type x is that you need some serious power to get them loud where a pair of type rs can get loud with only 1000wrms. still the sq is much better on the type x.

link? LMAO! No :-) At the shop..

also, I used to own two 12" type r dual 4 ohm subs.. I loved them and I'd trade my eclipses for 4 of them (but only if it could run @ a 2 ohm load)
