upgrade your electrical cables to a bigger gauge.

its batterie negative to ground,
alternator positive to batterie
alternator to the ground

Mostly nothing unless your existing wiring is too small, or deteriorating.

It's mostly done when one upgrades to a high output alternator.

well i did not meter my voltage before i did it but i did the big three with 1/0 gauge stock alternator and a yellow top.. at 2000rmp im seeing 14volts but as far as getting louder it did nothing. my lights still dim as well so when i get extra money ill have to upgrade alts

thought it was battery - 2 ground an alt.+ 2 battery + an ground from engine block? is there a ground on the alt. 2? an is it ok 2 have the engine ground right on the engine? 2 the battery ground cause i got it all moslty done just gota proplem gettin a bolt 4 a ground lol
