thats an older HU i think and for the same price you could find a used 860 or a new 880 or 780 or 7800. all great units, i have the 880 myself.

wouldn't be my choice for speakers though.

knukonceptz is great, but as stated above, i think they are out of 0 gague wireing kits. i got a stinger HPM kit on ebay for $80 shipped a while back. i think they are a little more now, but its a good kit.

overall, not bad though.

Robert - the DEH-880PRS is prob the best no frills SQ unit made right now. they for for around $330 shipped on ebay. i have one and its great. the 780 and 7800 is about the same price and has more flash to it with all the same features i think.

Bassman3 - well, my choice would be some Rainbow SLC's. but you could also look at JL XR's, MB Quart, Alpine Type X's and DLS. you could also look at Boston Acoustics, Polk or diamond.

i'd reccomend you try to listen to the speakers before you decide to buy, if you can of course. i've had the XR's and MB Quart lines of speakers, all are nice. had the older Type X's and didn't care for them. new ones are different though and are suppose to be nice. want to mess with some DLS speakers to see what i think, just haven't had the opprotunity. Bostons, a lot of people complain about the tweeters being harsh and midbass is really lacking. diamonds aren't really all they are made out to be. polk momo's are pretty good all round.

Look into the CDT HD62 set or the JL XR's. Top 2 in my opinion in the $300 range. Check out the MB QUART PCE 216's aswell.
