Hello.
This is my big problem:
My digital capacitor(it the second one), don't want to charge, when I tryed, it's come up to 4.8-5.1 V only, then stops.Once I left it to charge overnight but it's the same, 5V.
I used resistor in line, between plus (+) leads.Without this resistor(I try to connected straight{after i used resistor}),I got big spark on the batt.terminal (-) side.
So, what can be wrong? if you have some ideas, please help me out!

The capacitor is 1.5 Far.
and the car what Im trying to upgrade is Nis.Maxima 2006. Amp is Audiobahn A6601. The sub is alpine 12" single coil E-type.All speakers around is "Alpine, component".

Thanks in advance Upload

Sorry, I am not muddy but maybe I can help? First of all get yourself a DMM (digital multi-meter) and measure the voltage at the resister to verify the voltage reading on your caps display. How did you wire it? Did you follow the directions for installation? The power should go inline of you amps power wire and as close to the amp as possible. Now the caps ground SHOULD NOT be inline with the amplifiers ground connection but to a chassis ground and as short short as possible, closest to your mounting position. Here is a link for a .pdf installation guide, maybe a different cap but you will get the idea... Polo..

Jeniffer, nice picture! Just kidding.
To charge a cap like yours (1.5F), find a 12v light bulb. Connect one end of the wire from the bulb to the pos on the cap, the other end to pos on the battery. Neg to neg.
The bulb will light up for 3 - 5 seconds then it will go out. Once that happens, the cap is FULLY charged. Now if you connect the cap directly to the power, there will be no more sparks.
I've tried using the resistor to charge the cap, it really didn't work for me.

Thank you Polo.
First of all, the groud was inline with the amplifiers.(but I connected by Schoshi diagram!)

And second, the meter on my capacitor is lied.

Thanks Polo,I owe you a beer.

Bulbs are rated by voltage/ wattage or even Lumens. Just use a 12v bulb like from your interior light, should work fine.Polo..

instead of the resistor use a test light close to the cap that will charge the cap better but slower
