i have a 2-Channel Kenwood 800W KAC-7201 Amplifier and i go to start my car ready to go pounding down the street it doesnt work? i look nothing seemed wrong, didnt fry it, it always stayed cool even on long trips for atleast a few hours. the fuses are good grounding wire still good and battery wire still hooked up i dont know what is wrong anyone have any advice or seen this happen before?
yah i checked that after i posted, its still connected not sure whats going on. all the connections are taped with electrical wiring and if the heat can affect the connections, im getting puzzled
Maybe something in the power supply fried...have you tried opening it up to see if anything is physically damaged? Maybe you can hook it up in another car?
just to be sure, take a test light and see if your getting power at the amp on the power and the remote(when car on for remote) casue, if you have the glass fuse it can blow at the very top and not be seen....
