ima get a 15" of one of the following subwoofers. i will put them in a ported low tuned box probably tuned at 25hz

the subs are...

Eclipse TI
Treo SSi
Crystal Comp X
SI mag

which one of these has better sq, spl, sql, goes deepest, etc?

i heard the SSi n TI are very similiar in sq n spl so it just comes down to price between them i guess but i dont kno bout the others

i dont think the TI and SSi are very similar at all. maybe its just the TIs ive heard, but the SSi has strong sq while the TI has more SPL. the comp Xs are great subs and should hit very hard and clean tuned that low. ive never heard a SI mag so i cant comment on them.

i would probably say comp X is the best choice out of the ones ive heard.

B means the technology behind it - it does not mean thats its not a good sub just that they havent changed its technology , heck maybe they thought "if it ain't broke then don't fix it" -lol

there was a thread about it on termpro forum which i read a while ago .....

LOL.....the old design was called the cmpx..900rms...the newer overhung design is called the compx...1600rms...there is a huge diffrence...not in sq..still 1 of the best...but the spl is very noticable...which 1 did u hear????

I'd suggest the comp x.. I heard 1 compx2 the other day.. it was given 2400wrms and was taking it.. only problem hes had giving it that much power is blowing the rubber surround but all he has to do is reglue it :-)

yea the compx is what I was refering to, i still wouldnt give it more than 2200rms... good street beater subs, nice sq...

si mag will be the most efficent on his list, and get louder with less power.. still handles alot of power, but not necessary... smaller box, efficent sub..

the SSI u cant loose with it either... but difently more than the rms to get it goin nicely..

the Mag will probably be your easy make a sealed box throw 1000rms or so on it and call it a day. It'll have awesome output and killer SQ. W7 sucks for the price and the SSI does better in a ported box. Eclipse Ti i know is good but not as good as the Mag or SSI. Never dealt with the Crystal but it looks promising, i'd like to try one if I didn't love my Mag so much.
