what do you guys think about this subs? are they in the same level of w7? people say it has sq and can get really loud.. havent heard it my self though.. 1000 rms for a 12' sub is pretty good i think.
it depends where your buying them from and what you expect out of them. they dont have very much SPL, but can sound very good in a small sealed box. theres some on ebay for around $200, not a bad SQ sub at all for the price in my opinion.
i had 2 12s before and they sounded good but didnt have enough SPL for me.
for the record ive heard just as many W7s sound bad as ive heard sound good. im not a fan of them.
if you like sq i would say get the type X. the w7 will get louder but sq wise it ain't much better. the type x plays a wide range of freq well. it blends well with the rest of the sound in your car.
