Post Number: 530 Registered: Sep-05 | if i were you i would save up a little more than that.... 2 type r's would cost him at least 170$ for 10's and 200$ for 12's which would be leaving him strapped for the amp, wires, and box i would go with a pair of kicker comp c12's (basic but not the worst ever invented item 190005701892 on ebay (ebay liks dont like to work) so just type it in thea search feild these r 8 ohm single coils so you can parallel them for a 4 ohm load and although not the best in the world but keeping it in your price range would be a Power acousik ts620-2 pushing a claimed 360 watts @4 ohms bridged (it prolly really only puts out about 280-300) i think it will do just fine. ebay 110005567088 this system would be in no wa super hard or even hard at all really but will ad you some decent sounding bass. |

Post Number: 531 Registered: Sep-05 | on the up side of a low power system is that you can go to wall mart nd buy the cheepest wiring kit for like 15$  and ittle do just fine until your ready to upgrade another step than all you need to do is go buy some box building stuff from home depot or wherever and build u a box... (or you can just be lazy and buy some build your own boxes from walmart... but even this would put you just outside your spending range. |
