"DO YOU EVER FEEL LIKE YOU COULD ADD SOMETHING TO THE LIST, BUT YOU END UP SKIPPIN YOUR .02 WORTH AND GO ON TO THE NEXT, JUST BECAUSE YOU THINK THERE MAY BE A BETTER THREAD OUT THERE DOWN THE LINE THAT WOULD BETTER SUIT YOUR PERSONA?"

Maybe its because the know you by your alias Shaine.

But common now.. I have a hard time relatin to some off the wall comments people make when they do not even address the topic in the thread. Sometimes it gets so off topic that by the time you get to the bottom of the page, its about somebodys mom instead of a verry old repeated "how do you wire two DVC 4 ohm subs down to 1 ohm". Yeah I know it is common knowledge, but my point is that the threads get longer but off topic really.

Thats why I reffrain from posting sometimes, because, I feel that the thread has gone to another topic really.

I agree with Shaine.

Posting OT: in the thread line before your subject is good practice and is a great advertising tool.

Besides,

We as "Audio Gurus" should not be stereo-typed (no-pun-intended...lol)just as bass-heads. We also enjoy off-roading, women, fishing, women, lighting accessories, women, sports, women, etc...

If there are any real chicks reading this please feel free to join in on the convo. I am not sexist. Just sexy. :-)

So why shouldnt we have the freedom to post OT?

I think its absolutely healthy. It breaks the monotony.

No, as a matter of fact we should have a women section.:-)

All in favor for a women section say aye, and vote for it.

We should have a section where we as dudes can discuss certain topics regarding our better halves.:-)

I think it may top the subwoofer section thread count in just one week, though ... lol

I am not a fan of drag queens though, sorry NEMEN. J/K

Oh ya, and no fairies either, just straight up dudes.

Another thing is; is the subject that people use to advertise their threads.
For instance there are threads that I dont even bother to open because the subject doesnt even seem appealing to my persona.

True there may me a decent interesting topic inside, but since the subject seems less than satisfactory, I skip it.

For example the one about lilrob and all the people gangin up on one dude. I simply skip it because it just seems like its not for me to discuss. There may be some interesting conversations in the midle of the thread, but since there is a lot of trash mixed up with it, I just simply end up skipppin the whole deal.

I just dont like to talk to extreme newbs.

Example:
I have 2 12" subs and a 500watt amp what should I do?

To all the newbs please include RMS of sub/s and amp/s in question, Please know and post what ohm and the voice coil settings 1,2,4,ect.. on the subs, and know what your amps RMS @ ? ohm.

If I or anyone have to ask you all those questions it will just take longer.

Theres my .02 cents.LOL :-)
