Need Help Choosing Amp and Subs

Hi guys. I just recently installed an Alpine CDA-9856 and four Infinity Reference 6012i Speakers into my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. My Jeep previously had the Infiniti Gold system so I am currently running the speakers off of the stock amp. I know this can't be enough power. Because these speakers are made particularly for highs and mids I want to purchase subwoofers. I listen to a lot of rab, pop, and rock so I'd need something to accomodate these types of styles. I was thinking of going with the whole alpine theme and getting either Type R's or Type X's for the subs but I have no idea what to do about an amp. Could you guys please recommend some good combos? Also, is it possible to run the speakers and subs all off of one amp?

Thank you. I'll be doing the wiring in my cousin's Jeep Grand Cherokee as they currently bought subs and an amp themselves. Better to mess up their car before I try to do mine, right? ;)

2 type r's (dual voice coil 4 ohm) = kx1200.1

2 alpine type-x (dual 2 ohm voice coils) = http://cgi.ebay.com/KICKER-KX2500-1-2500-WATT-MONOBLOCK-AMPLIFIER-MONO-AMP_W0QQi temZ9731825135QQcategoryZ79829QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

or you can get 2 DVC 2 ohm subs and hook 2 of these (one to each sub) and wire to 1 ohm:

Do you guys have any opinions on the Alpine subwoofers? What sub will get me the most bang for my buck? Also, 1 or 2 subs?
