what kind of enclosure would you guys reccomend for a pair of memphis M3's pushed by a memphis 1100d, i have 40W X 20D X 15H to work with, i want massive SPL at about 32hz, but if i can get it to hit all kinds of notes that would be nice

im thinking about 4.4 cubes at 35 hz. what would be the dimensions of that, i dont know how to do the displacement of the subs and port and stuff

if thats no good could you help me out

Well the higher the tuning the louder it is, but you also loose SQ. If it's SPL you want though, I would go 35-37hz at most. And here's all the dimensions you would need...

nobody can guess what u are hittin, we dont know anything about the acoustics of your car, or how well its deaden or the resonant frequency...
so u have to burp it your self and get it measure on a accurate meter such as a Term Lab..

if you really want spl tune around 40 45 it will get coniderably more loud than low 30's.. but you have to sacrafice one for the other .. you wont get deep bass

Um, It'll be louder than anything tuned below it, but sound worse. You'll also loose your low end, and I don't think you want that. The audible difference I don't know though. I'd say go 36hz at the most, because it'll still be loud and give you decent lows.
