K, so I got a viper 791xv alarm/remote start and got it professionally installed by a Place called Sound Waves. The alarm and remote start end works great but when driving I have acceleration problems even when turning, I think it has something to do with the remote start end of the alarm. My car was working just fine before the alarm, I have a 92 camaro RS V6!!! Please Help!!!
your "professional" installer problably didn't power up the correct Accessory wires and it messing with your transmission. bring it back to sound waves and get them to double check your ignition wires. If that checks out correct. Than it's something in your vehicle, not the starter. so head to the dealership. The important thing is that you bring it to sound waves first... so that if your mechanic finds that it is the starter, then sound waves pays for the mechanic's work.
