I hear alot of people on this site saying they hit 120dbs+ with systems that i feel are smaller then mine. I have a 15" kicker CVR(500wrms) running off a kicker kx400.1(465wrms on birthsheet). I measured it with a friends db meter he bought. I only got 118.8dbs. Its in a toyota corolla hatchback. Dus this sound about right.

no. it should be louder
i know for a fact that i hit in the low to mid 130's with my 10.:-)
i helped out at an audioshop with guys who were around this stuff and competitions like every month, and theya said that i definitely am hitting in the 130's......which really isn't that loud at all. but for my 10"....i am happy:-)

I heard sumwhere that some cheap meters cannot read below a certain frequency. Could this be the problem, cos it certainly was a cheap meter...
