Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 129 Registered: Mar-06 | hi,how did you get aftermarket radio into the accord stock.. (you know the stock has climate control built into it. and where did the big knob go that's in the middle of the climate control) |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindLos Angeles, CA USA Post Number: 3807 Registered: Oct-05 | i had to sacrifice my climate control option joe. my ac still works but my auto climate control don't. |
Gold Member Username: RedlinerWilmington, Ma Post Number: 1475 Registered: Jun-05 | ya and u just sacrificed ur back seat lol but well worth it i bet |
Gold Member Username: Young_jamesCanada Post Number: 1247 Registered: Sep-05 | hey, you got to sacrifice small things to get great big things |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindLos Angeles, CA USA Post Number: 3809 Registered: Oct-05 | exactly james. see you know whats up man. i don't know about that charlie dude. lol jk charlie. you're cool bro. btw james get on aim sometimes man. we hardly see you on there. |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 130 Registered: Mar-06 | but i can use output converters to add amplifiers to my stock radio right? Cuz i really don't wanna get rid of the climate control and the shape of the whole dash.. u know..? so again... if i install output converters to my stock; will i be able to install amplifiers and have a blasting sound system? |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindLos Angeles, CA USA Post Number: 3810 Registered: Oct-05 | it won't sound too good though. thats how i had it at first. |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 131 Registered: Mar-06 | why would it not sound so good? |
Gold Member Username: Young_jamesCanada Post Number: 1250 Registered: Sep-05 | the stock radio don't put out nearly the power as an aftermarket deck would btw chad, I'll dl aim tonight and see if anyone is on |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 132 Registered: Mar-06 | is there any way to make it put it more power? |
Gold Member Username: BestmankindLos Angeles, CA USA Post Number: 3812 Registered: Oct-05 | you can buy one of those oem interface. it is suppose to take the signals of the stock radio and convert it to a stronger signal. jl audio has a nice oem interface. go to www.jlaudio.com and check it out. its kinda expensive though. btw joe does yours have navi too? i just had the 6 indash disc changer and the climate control. |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 133 Registered: Mar-06 | i don't have the car yet.. but soon i will have it. not planning to have navigations.. unless there is a advantage of navigation to my audio system.. |
Silver Member Username: LewassBoomfield Hills, MI USA Post Number: 665 Registered: Jan-06 | Chad is referring to the JL audio cleansweep, which is around $400 from an authorized dealer. You better have a stock navigation system if you are gonna spend 400 to not change your stock head unit... $400 get's you a pretty damn nice HU... |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 134 Registered: Mar-06 | i know what u r trying to say but the stock radio of the new honda accord does not accept the aftermarket radio... *** wouldn't the PAC OEM-2 will do the same thing as the JL cleansweep?? what's the difference http://cgi.ebay.com/PAC-OEM-2-OEM2-4-CH-Adj-Line-Level-Output-Converter-NEW_W0QQ itemZ9714396675QQcategoryZ1498QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem |
Gold Member Username: Young_jamesCanada Post Number: 1252 Registered: Sep-05 | looks similar, but you can't expect it to work half as good as the JL.....$24 compared to $400 |
Silver Member Username: HighstonePost Number: 138 Registered: Mar-06 | do you know the differences?? cuz i don't.. well if not PAC OEM-2 then what about LC6 by audiocontrol.. looks more like the JL check it out.... http://cgi.ebay.com/AUDIOCONTROL-LC6-6-Channel-OEM-Line-Output-Converter_W0QQite mZ9715310537QQcategoryZ79842QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem |
