i am looking at buyign a used 1200w xplod amp. right now i have a 250w sherwood running one sub, and a 320 4 channel on the other, running off only 2 of 4 channels. will i notice a substantial difference with this new amp?

my subs are 4 ohm nominal impedance, and 350w rms 1400w peak. can i run them at 2 ohms or is that a big no no. i am really new to this and was wondering what i shuld do. i want more loudness than quality... i know xplod amps arent very good. but im 17 and cant afford much more...

don't go with Sony for anything in the car.
Sherwood is a knock off of Kenwood i think.

you should get more from that Sony then the Sherwood, so you should notice some difference.

what kind of budget are you looking at and mabye theres something better for the same price then Sony??

is the 1211a a good amp? would it be a good choice for spl and quality?

how much louder will it be if i was to go from 41w to 1200?

and the subs will only handle 350w rms, if i get an amp that does 400w rms per channel, is that not good for my subs? im really new at this whole concept
