Does shape of box make a difference

building a new sealed box and wondered if a square box sounded any different from a triangle

there have been a few articles on this online

basically - do not build a perfectly square box , rectangular is preferred

tests also show a slight benefit of using a trapezium shaped box (2 sides parallel , either fr/back 90 degree & remaining side slanted slightly) over 90 degree walls - but its alot more difficult to build though if u have the skills & time to go right ahead .

Easiest box to built is rectangular ......

yea i had ported like that and just wanted to make a quik sealed to hear the sq difference

Sealed is definitely better sounding, no doubts about that.. The bass "fill" is more pronounced with sealed, while the impacts will be better in the ported.

also does polyfill insde make a huge difference
