james m long Bronze Member Username: Ironslave Post Number: 44 Registered: Sep-05	Posted on Saturday, February 25, 2006 - 00:32 GMT ok so the use of the capacitor is to make your electrical supply smooth.. preventing spikes... i am having an issue with my car and was just wondering what the issue could be... my cars lights dim and the RPMS loose about 1-200 RPM when bass hits... but only when the car is parked or stopped... it runs stable other than that... so i dunno if i need a better alternator... would a capacitor also reduce clipping?

E Eater Bronze Member Username: Eeater Post Number: 64 Registered: Feb-06	Posted on Saturday, February 25, 2006 - 14:23 GMT I would take Greeney1888 advice http://www.optimabatteries.com/ It sound like you might have lowered your battery to low too many times, and deepcell batteries are beter than a capacitor b/c if you do get a HO alternator you would want a yellow top too, right?
