My Audiobahn A8002T seemed to be running a little warm! Like it never got Hot and it never shut off or anything but it got a little warm why is this? We was using only a 8gauge amp kit when we need a 4 so i got that now. And this was the first time it had been used so was it just breaking in?

Were you running your system loudly for a long time?

The power wire needs to be 4 AWG. And ground at least 8 AWG. That could cause some excess heat I suppose.

Mine gets warm sometimes (A8000T), and it has shut off once, but it was over 100 degrees outside, and the trunk was completely sealed, and system running for about 30 minutes straight. Trunk temperatures on hot days can kill any amp, even with the fan, because after all the air is hot, it's just circulating hot air in and out.
