I recently ordered a kicker cvr 15" 2 ohm model. Will this work on my bazooka el1500 amp at 2 ohms? will my amp automatically know its a 2 ohm sub and operate at 2 ohms?
did you order a dual 2 ohm sub? If so it will only operate at 1 ohm and 4 ohm. If your amp is a 2 channel amp then you can wire each coil to a channel and then it will see a 2 ohm load.
the cvrs are all dvc, and since you ordered a dual to you can only wire it to 1 or 4 ohms so you need a 1 ohm stable amp. Try like a viper 600d or directed 600d you could get them both for really cheap of ikesound.com
