Or you could get a little gasoline powered generator. :-D Short of that..? Nope..gotta send a wire back. (I personally send one for pos, as well as a dedicated ground, as well, that way I dont have to ground to my chasis at all and worry about if the ground is 100% good, as well as what part of the car it's grounded too...cutting out risk of voltage loss due to spot welds, insufficient current carrying capacity of the chasis, etc.) |

Platinum Member Username: GlasswolfWisteria, Lane USA Post Number: 10995 Registered: Dec-03 | the size of the wire depends on the distance it's run and the amount of current drawn through it. if you're using a starter battery and one for the audio system, you'll also need a battery isolator rated for at least the output of your alternator. |
