But it has a small knick in the surround, is there anything you can do about that?? And won't it keep tearing/getting larger??? (if i push about 1000-1200 watts to it). That makes me kinda mad cause thats a sweet box with teh plexiglass back (i love the magnent on sx's/RE subs) |

Bronze Member Username: Goose5714Post Number: 51 Registered: Feb-06 | Thats what i guessed, my friend who has the best system only has 2 10w3's ported and pushing 500 watts to each but the gain is at like minimum on the amps. ^^^ thats kinda sad lol i guess thats what happens when you live in iowa  . Back on topic, so the sx will be that bad sealed??? I am getting the box for like 20 bux so i might as well get it and maybe try to sell it or something, or use the plexiglass when i build my own box! I think i am gonna buy it as long as no one thinks the knicked surround will cause any serious problems. Thx for being so patient with me everyone |

But that thing pounds, i only have like 600 watts going to it and it is great. But for sure port the thing with a 2.5 or so cu ft box around 30 to 32 hz. |

The 12 is 270 shipped. Wouldn't it just bug you that you bought a sub that has a tear in the surround, everytime you look at it the hole will be peeping at you, lol.
