Would 2 12" arsenals move more air than a 15" X.X.X. if i did it correctly i found out that the 2 subs would move more air. i'm asking because i want to change my setup for better sq, but i want to maintain high spl levels. Anyone know the "proper" formula to see how much air a sub could move.. with xmax included.. Thanks Robbie Brown
well, you could use this formula. check out the specs and find the sd i believe it is of both subs. that is the cone area. you need it in centimeters. if its in inches convert it. 1 inch= 2.54 centimeters. now that you know the surface area you can multiply it by the xmax which is in mm so convert it to cm. ex: arsenal is 20.5mm so 2.05cm. now multiply the numbers and see which number is higher. the arsenal 12 x2 or one xxx. sorry i dont know the formulas the audiophiles use.
Has anyone powered their arsenals with around 600 watts. i'd run an eD nine.1 amp at 1 ohm, with 2 arsenals at 600 watts and i want to know how they would sound.
