alright i have an mtx 8500 12 hooked up to a PA 1600 watt amp (puts around 600) wired at 2 ohms. When i turned my car on there was just a constant thumping coming from the subs, even when the music was down at zero. what am i doin wrong? thanks!
alright, i checked the ground and it was pretty weak so i changed it and that has helped. Now, it doesnt make the continious knocking, but they dont seem to hit that hard...is it because they havent been broken in yet? and also when i changed songs there is a thump in in the subs.
i wired to one positive and in that same terminal there is another wire that goes to the next positive, same with negetive. thats would make it 2 ohms right? haha
