Amp Issue

Hi I have a problem. I have two of my amps hooked up together using a distribution block for power. (Look at picture) I'm using an RCA Converter with two Y-RCA plugs into it. For some reason on the second amp the light turns red when the speakers are on, but the other amp doesn't. Any thoughts to what I am doing wrong?

I also have both amps bridged at 4 ohms.

i would not ground amps to cap, but unhook the speaker leads is it in protect, then switch spearker leads on amps, and see if it does it. and does your amp have a line out rca on it, if so try that instead of y's.

My speakers aren't plugged in, but it is bridged. Yes, it's in protect mode. And why is it you wouldn't connect the grounds to the cap? I'm not sure if my amp has a line out RCA. Here are my amp specs...

* 2 Channel Amplification
* 2 x 800 Watts Output
* 1 x 1600 Watts Bridged Output
* Polished Chrome Finish w/Plexiglass
* Remote Control Bass Boost (0~18dB @ 60Hz)
* Adjustable Electronic Crossover Network
* Soft turn On/Off Circuit
* 2 Ohm Stereo Stable
* Bridgeable into 4 Ohms
* MOSFET PWM Power Supplies
* Variable Gain Control
* Remote Turn On/Off
* Hi/Lo Level Inputs
* Power On LED Indicator
* LED Protection Indicator
* S/N Ratio: >90dB
* THD: <0.04%
* Freq. Resp.: 10Hz-30k Hz
* Thermal, Overload, & Short Circuit Protection
* Dual MOSFET PWM Power Supplies
* Dimensions: 2"H x 11"W x 18.2"L

what amp is it? and any capacitor instructions uses the cap ground just for itself. it is always a little better to make sure each has their own stable ground(bare metal).

easy to find, If an amp (2 channel) has 2 sets of rcas on it, then it is going to have a line out on it, if 4 channel it would have 3.

I'll try making them all their own ground wires. Do you think that will solve the problem? But if I give them all their own ground, why would one amp be working fine and the other not if its connected the way I have it now?

And no, my amp only has 1 set of RCA's.

if that happens, and you still have the problem there is a good chance that the amp is gone bad. especially if protect is on with no load on it,
