Battery in the trunk

my 06 cobalt has the battery in the trunk....im not sure so i want to ask... is it ok to use the same ground as what the battery is grounded 2...i dont think it will do anything but im not sure...plz help

Eric, it'd actually be even better, to simply make your ground the negative terminal of the battery.

By using a chasis ground, all you're doing in reality, is connecting the ground to the negative post of the battery, anyways, just through the chasis/ground wire. So if you want to eliminate un-needed resistance, just use the post instead. :-)
