Is a 2000w amp to much for a rockford fosgate t212d2

its a 2 channel i forgot to mention that, pheonix audio, i've had it in my garage and i need to know if its to much

Hmmm...We've all heard of Phoenix Gold, and most of us have probably heard of the budget brand Phoenix Digital. But Phoneix Audio?? Haven't heard of that one. If I had to guess I'd say it's a knock off brand and may not be anywhere near 2000w. Do you have a manual for the amp? Or does it at least have on-board fuses? What size?

The only PD amp I could find that's similar to the one you're describing is the pd-397.
It's ratings are 250x2 at 4 ohms stereo
350x2 at 2 ohms stereo and
700 bridged mono.

At over $200 I would expect it to be pretty close on the power rating, and with a 1000w dual 2 wired in series it should work quite well with ~700w. It's not an amp I would recommend, but since you have it it would certainly be worth trying.
