So, I'm assuming that just like subwoofers, component speakers need to have the front and back of the speaker indiviually sealed correct? Like an enclosure, just inside ur door? Also - is it recommended to put some dampening material between the speaker and the door?
Oh, and I've heard that the best location for imaging is to design a kickpanel for ur car - I'd have to build it though, cuz I'll be dammed if I pay 100 dollars for it lol.
100 bucks for kickpanels? that's cheap! If you want the best bass response then you would glass it into your doors. If you don't have time/patience/money then best choice would be use like some sort of sealent to the door.
