I'm aiming for something that bumps real well. An Audio system that produces a clean, crisp sound. The yellow kinda took me off also, but I can live with that if it's a great steal for $200 ya know. But, pretty much looking for something that just jams.

never heard of the company who makes the drivers
that yellow is hideous
the plexiglass looks like it's 1/4" which isn't nearly heavy enough for a good box. you need at least 3/4" to 1" lexan for load bearing walls of a speaker box to resist flexing.

I'd spend a little more and buy a pair of Adire Shiva 12" or Kicker CompVR 12" for ~$200-$250 then spend $50-60 and build my own box for them, sealed or vented.

by the way that enclosure is bandpass, and won't hit very deeply. Loud as heck, but not deep.

not really, but I won't buy cheap crap just to "get by"
I'd rather save up and get decent gear that'll last.
just my outlook.
everybody has different opinions.

not a fan of audiobahn, and glasswolf will tell you the same thing, they dont have good sq. however, they are a step up from the first set of subs you posted. how much are you willing to spend on subs? as glass mentioned before, those subs are also in a bandpass box so you wont have that deep or low sound. the bandpass will help give the subs a better sound. my brother has 2 10" earthquakes, pos, in a bandpass and they dont sound 1/2 bad, loud but not deep at all. would be awefull if they were in a sealed box.

Well at the moment I can spend anywhere between $250-$300, and I would like to find subwoofers that already are pre-installed in a box. Thank you for your honest input their Kevin. As you may notice, I know very very little about car audio stuff. I never was big into this, but now I'm looking and now seeking advise.

just like glasswolf said before, kicker comp vr's. u can pick them up on ebay for $150 for a pair shipped. they're really good subs for a great price. u find them at an online store for a little more. then u can just buy a box, and wiring the subs is very easy. wiring them is also very easy to mess up if u dont know exactly how to do it. so just ask us when the time comes, and we will tell u how to wire them step by step.

I was just thinking that.
two Kicker CompVR 12" subs (2+2 ohm DVC models)
then search eBay for "kicker comp vr box gold"
you'll fine a slot vented box built of 3/4" MDF, carpeted, with gold terminals designed just for those subs. they sell for about $40-50 for the box
the subs are about $99 each new.
that'd be ~$250-300 US.
and you'll be very happy with the outcome.
they'll want ~300wRMS each, so a Kicker KX600.1 is an ideal amplifier to match with those two subs.
with two 4+4 ohm DVC subs you'll get a 2 ohm load which is ideal on that amp.

Wow, thanks alot guys, this really helps. Let me ask a quick question without sounding stupid, but I thought to setup a speaker box, you just wire them to the pre-existing wires to the car speakers? That's unless you do setup with a amp, then of course extra wiring will be required? Is this wrong?

Okay, any ideas on what type of amp I should buy? I know one that delivers a great sound with no distortion? Any brands better than others, for a reasonable price? Let's say $150 or lower?

the amp will depend on the sub(s) you go with.

if you get a single compVR 4+4 ohm DVC sub, you could use a JBL BP300.1 amp and that'd be $99 for the sub, and $160 or so for the amp I think, and maybe $40 for the box.
