ok im looking at putting a new system into my civic and know how im going to do my subs and now going to work on the speakers.

ive got 6 1/2's in the front
and 6 x 9's in the back

few questions for yall..

what am i looking for as in how many ways it says the speakers are
(i.e. 5 way 2 way or 3 way speakers?)

and the speakers i was lookin at were
Pioneer TS-G1640R 6.5" 2-Way Speakers
and
Pioneer TS-A6991R 6"x9" 5-way Speakers 6"x9"

ill also need a seperate amp to run these correct? if so can you direct me towards one?? dont want to spend more then 200 er so..
lookin for the best deal for a cheap price

ok screw the pioneers.

ive decided on alpine..
Alpine SPS-690A 6"x9" 3-way Speakers
Alpine SPS-170A 6-1/2" 6-3/4" 2-way Speakers

now.. can yall help me decide on an amp??

No subs - just those alone ????? Alpine has some good 4 chan amps .......

do spend some extra $ & get component speakers instead - it'll sound alot cleaner ......

yeah, get 6.5" components in the front and forget about the back. put a sub in the back.
