what is a good cap around $80 i can get? i want it to beable to handel the power when i upgrade later. 2400w peak 1200w rms atm and upgraded it will be 4800w peak 2400w rms.
you shouldn't waste your money on one really, look into a HO alternator, you'll need a 250 amp alt at least for 2400 watts and the car electrical system. the alternator will run a lot more then $80 though.
i am just looking at a cap for looks not to help my system alot.. ill get a new alt when i get the second amp but i wanna get a cap now and not have to upgrade it later. so what would be a good cap about $80-90 i can get?
if your gonna pull 2400 watts rms, look for a 3-5 farad cap with the lowest esr you can find. (1 farad per 1000 watts) they are all pretty much the same. look on ebay.
