K I need either 1 15" dual 2 ohm sub that can handle 2000 rms or 2 12" subs that can handle 1000 rms x 2 @ 1 ohm.

Specs on amp:
Cont. Power 4 Ohm 2 x 500 Watts
Cont. Power 2 Ohm 2 x 800 Watts
Cont. Power 1 ohm 2 x 1000 Watts
Cont. Power Bridged 4 Ohm 1 x 1600
WattsCont. Power Bridged 2 ohm 1 x 1950 Watts

and the amp retails for around $2,400 Canadian so its a top end amp!

I want to compete in DB drag so I would like somthing that will help me the most! I plan to build box to specs, and also I have a fairly big trunk and am willing to use it all for the stereo! up to $1000 on sub(s)...less is prefered!

thanks alot

You can get a JL 13W7 for around 750 and a JL 1000/1 for about the same. So the pair will run you 3000 for amps and drivers. 2000W rms no heat problems also very efficent.

orion h2 15" 400$ off ebay
these subs would get really loud

Oh an I allready have an amp....and im sure its better than the JL 1000/1 as the amp I have is $2,400 and is Helix.

so what would hit higher SPL 15, or 12?
Say the sub were the same model of subs same power in the box built to specs?

thanks

2 12" kicker L7's or a 15" either or. I figure since the Pioneer can handle for watts both rms and max MORE than the Kickers and that it is an SPL sub that I will HOPEFULLY beat the L7's. My brothers friend will be hooking up one 15" Kicker L7 to a Kx1200.1. And My amp will be 2000rms so I want to torque him!
