I'd take the 240 Mk II. When comparing the 2 ways, I feel Dynaudio is superior to the DLS sets due to their upper midrange performance, DLS tends to be a little darker and muddy. The 3 ways are more debatable. Yes, if they're your taste, they're worth the extra cash over the hex series.
What do you mean "if they're your taste". Would there be a noticable difference in clarity, imaging and staging between the 2? (Both being properly installed of course)
I meant Dynaudio and DLS in comparison to Diamond Hex. Dynaudio and DLS are similar in tonality, they have a smooth, open, natural sound. Diamond Hex is a little more forward.
