Hi im going from an old punch 40 amp which has this remote lead wire... blue, with like a slot connector on it to a Infinity 310a which seems to have a regular screw type connector... what do I have to do to get these to work together? run a new remote lead? any ideas??????
You can share the remote wire from one amp to the other amp. Just remember, the maximum current in that wire is around 200ma. Very small. Not enough current to power anything. If you have more than 2 amps, you're better off getting a 12v relay.
im sorry I didnt clairfy, Im SWITCHING from an old punch 40 to a new Infinity 310a... so the wire with its slot connection doesnt seem to be compatible with the screw type connector on the new amp. Can i strip the wire maybe? and connect it straight?
