I have two jl audio sub in my truck. I recently took them out and when i put them back in and i realized that one wasn't working. The only thing is the sub that is working is wired to the sub that won't work and the sub that won't work is wired directly to the amp. So i don't know if the sub is blown or what. please help

The easiest and least exspensive way to check your speaker is to pull it out of the box and use a multitester to see if it reads the appropriate ohms. A 4 ohm sub will read 4 ohms (or close to) if you have DVC (dual voics coils) then check each seperatly. A blown sub will not read ohms at all or give a WAY off reading. If your sub is blown PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE TO USE IT...you can short your amp out in this way...bad stuff!
