The new versions are beoing assembled now and are due to hit the market in September, and will cost about $570 for the 12" ($100 over the cost of the old models) I've seen pictures of the new XXX. it makes the old models look puny in size by comparison.. they're massive.

Falls on it's face in performance in comparison to the ones listed above. For $200 it isn't a bad deal, but you can get an ID Max for not a lot more, too.

but SQ is totally subjective and depends ALOT on the install.
As for the new XXX, i read in a few places that RE is gonna debute it at SEMA. I'm looking into either getting one of those when they come out, or an MT.
yes it is. but noone here would dish out the money to get one, when they could get subs that perform just as good for way less.
plus, i heard you have to get the box juuuuuust right for them to perform well. not only that, but they require a LOT of power to get loud. unlike say, a Brahma, which only requires about 600w to get loud.
price is always a factor when it comes to something being the BEST in the real world, b/c if something is too expensive, then noone will buy it, and the next best alternative turns out to be the "best".
