K, I run 2 Type R 12" 2 Ohm Subs in a bassworx ported box. I am running the NEW series of Sony 1400 watt class D amp and I hit 139.6 spl. What would an average SPL be for these subs? I am getting a 800 per channel (rms,2 channels) 4000 watt max Dark Blue amp. What would be a sub that has good listening sound for driving music but a good power handle for SPL? and I guess I want SQ and SPL thanks!
I meant DB..thats my mistake!! I'm new at this sorry but I'm 100% sure I hit 139.6db I placed 5th(Db drag) in the Kelowna USACI western finals. I meant DB..thats my mistake! SPL is sound pressure level right, does that differ from Db? it was tested by the mike they stick on your front passenger window.....
