But for a daily driver, a XXX is going thump and bump, it's just going to do it w/ good SQ. Right ??? Please don't tell my I made a mistake buying this sub.....

I don't have an account and am using a buddy's computer as I have been displaced from the hurricane. Didn't think it would be nice to post under their name, so I mark Anonymous. I will use a bogus unregistered name from now on.
the XXX can get very loud yes.. the motor is just designed for exceptional linearity even at high excursion. I use two RE XXX 12" subs in my own car. my car is built strictly for SQ, but it gets louder tahn most people would care to be in the car with.. so I never really worry about not having enough volume if I want to hear a song loud.
