I have a mtx thunder 801d amp, which is supposidly 800 rms. Would this power the alpine X well, or would it be too weak. Right now i have it powering an alpine R but its too powerful, and my sub is on the verge of being fried. Also, i would have a custom vented box made for the x. Any help would be nice.
Either i get the x or i get 2 r's. What should i do?
