I undertsand they do not take the place of a HO alternator. My question is if i'm only running about 1200 watts RMS would it make a difference whether I had the Cap in at all or would there be a bigger problem and strain on the alt. I have an Optiama Red top battery and and a 1.2 farad capacitor and right now my lights do not dim at all w/ a rockford fosgate bd1001 amp(I plan on adding an amp for mids and highs later). I also have a ps2, a 7" flip down screen and a viper remote start alarm and i have not had any electrical problems whatsoever Is the capapcitor helping any? |
