Burping jl audio

im running a jl 18 w-3 dual 4 its at a 2 ohm load to an alpine m 1000. its a 5 cubic foot box with dual 4" ports at 8 and 3/4" long and at high volume its burping.ive tried everything,this is killn me

burping isn't really a problem if that's what your going for (max output)....SPL contests use "burps"...so what exactly is your problem. You have to be more specific.

I think your confused about what is acutally happening. Burping is used in SPL comps playing test tones in order to get the most out of their subs. It has nothing to do with musicality at all.

well maybe you shouldnt be playing at such high volumes..,lower your gain some

If your bottoming out and you keep that up it wont be long before you damage your speaker so dont play it like that. What quick shot suggests is a good idea.
