WHAT THE HECK!!!! Kicker 12" CVR's Problems!

Tyler Moncrief Bronze Member Username: Tylermoncrief Post Number: 56 Registered: May-04	Posted on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 - 02:44 GMT Yo...I got 2 Kicker CVRs 12" 2005 4 Ohm Model Ok, I wired my speakers up to be 4 ohm I got a Kenwood KAC-7252 amp Its bridgeable I bridged the speakers on the amp 2 on 1 positive 2 on 1 negative For some reason it keeps blowing the fuses Now on the kickers there're 2 dots on a negative and positive. and the other 2 there isnt any dots I wired the 2 dotless toghter and wired the positive dot to the negative dot on the other speaker & Vice versa the negative on the other speaker. Fuses keep blowing. The Fuse that blows is a 40a fuse..not the fuse from amp kit to the battery Know what the problem is?

Tyler Moncrief Bronze Member Username: Tylermoncrief Post Number: 57 Registered: May-04	Posted on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 - 03:18 GMT Well...Ill tell you how I have them wired up Left Sub - 1st Voice coil Poisitve is wired to the positive on the Right Sub Positive 2nd Voice Coil is wired to the Negative & Positive (2nd Voice Coil) Right Sub - 1st Voice coil Negative is wired to the Negative on the Left Sub Negative. 2nd Voice coil is wired to the Negative & Positive (2nd Voice Coil)

Do you think the amp is getting to much power put to it or does the speakers need to be re wired a different way

You want to keep the bass inside the car by using edead or something in the trunk. Then you could let your windows down if you want to be heard. Also make sure the speakers are wired in phase.
