Hi everyone, I have a six disk cd changer in my 97 Explorer. I accidently put two disks in one slot and the whole thing became jammed. Before I take it in to get fixed, is there anything I can do myself to get it out without breaking it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Before you get anything fixed, get an estimate. Sometimes they will charge you more than the actual cost of a new unit! You really need to pull out the 6cd changer and open the case. Then you should be able to pull/slide the cd out. Most of the labour will involve removing the unit from the car.
