With 1x3000rms @2ohm. What setup is going to be best for the different catergory's (SQ/SPL)? Is that too much power for either sub?

And With 1x2000rms @2ohm/4ohm. The 9500 series vs comparable 12" or 15" subs on the market (xxx,aa, etc..) i dont know whats comparable.. but i got alot of watts to throw around and i want to get the most out of my sub in spl and sq.

(i wont run anything more than (2) 12"s or 1 15")

I think if you got the Eclipse TI Pro you would get some Monsterous bass with the power you got, the DD 9915 would be loud also but i would go with the eclipse TI pro in my choice, i believe it handles more power anyways.

the ti pro is a sql sub and the dd is a spl sub. the dd will be able to edge it out in most cases i would say

SQ of the Pro sucks compared to the Ti, too much motor, overemphasizes bass, and isn't ideal in factors such as moving mass, inductance, total impedance load, and so forth. It's along the same lines as the DD subs are, extremely strong motored subs built for SPL. DDs work better for SPL though, due to their suspension design and overall motor strength.

SO the Ti Pro and the DD 9900 are both SPL subs? out of those your reconmending the DD? Is 3000rms to much?

If i went with the 9500 series how much power could i safely get away with using? Any other sub better than the 9500 series in SQL?

3000 rms is to much for a daily driver on either sub, but for comps/burps 3000 is fine for the dd, not sure on the ti, as i am not familiar with that sub.

one of my older competition cars. Pics were taken in my shop. Did 158 legal sealed on the dash T/L. not bad but not great, the box was not efficient at all!
Besides, i built that for a one time "anything goes" local spl competition. got ripped apart the next day lol. (but it did win the 2sub class)
