Hi,
Newbie to the site so please be gentle :-)

I have just purchased an RE8 Subwoofer form my MR2 (Limited space), I have designed a box type: "Prism, Slanted Front" which has a capacity of: VB= 0.608 cu ft.

Now the questions are:

1. Using the RE8 do I go for Ported or Sealed
2. If Ported what or how do I work out what to
use ??
3. Do I fill the box ??

Any help or guidance would be really appreciated as this is my first attempt at such a box.

Many thanks

Graeme

That is a small box so i would put about 3/4 of a bag of polyfil that u can buy at walmart...staple it 2 the inside of the box so it dosent fly around and keep it sealed

Will let you know, just had notice that the sub will be delivered tomorrow morning so can't wait, rock n roll here we come :-)

The program is "Bassbox Pro", really neat proggy that helps design your box, advises on wiring, etc and has a database of Subs.

Send an email to gtech@f2s.com and I'll let you have more info ;-)
