3 12's on BX1500D

I have 2 eclipse AL 12's and I'm thinking about buying one more, could i put three aluminum 12's that are dual 2 ohm voice coil on a Hifonics Brutus BX1500D, Yall might already know but the amp is 1500x1 @ 1ohm, 1000x1 @ 2ohms and 500x1 @ 4 ohms.

Hey can someone tell me if this will work, i am trying to hook up a system before a competition next month.

it will work as long as you dont go less that 1 ohm load. you would have to wire it for a 1.33 ohm load and only get a real 1000rms from that amp since its a little overated.

Sounds alright thats like 333rms to each sub, i was also thinking about getting a new amp such as this memphis and just keeping my 2 12's http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/products/details.asp?id=25. I just want a good system that will last me at least more than a year.

dude sell that whole system and replace it with kicker its the best car audio system u can buy rite now, if u put 2 15in L7s in there IT WILL BE TWICE AS LOUD

Good call, L7s have terrible sound quality. Just horrible.....
