I have a kicker amp going to 2 comp vr 10s and it keeps going to protection mode, any ideas why? I have a stock deck. Its just the subs that shut off/ thats all that is running off the amp. Any help would be nice thx.
i originally bought a rockford fosgate type rf x1 amp with a 10" alpine type s sub.
so...it worked fine. then two weeks ago, i bought an extra sub, had it installed at car toys...and out of nowhere, it just shuts off..then turns off..then shuts off...
so i went there, (with my mean face on) and let them hear it. the guy is telling me my amp is overheating and going into protection mode. so he tells me not to turn it up too loud. but thats exactly why i bought a stereo system!
should i just return the extra sub and settle for one?
