Lights dim out!!

right now i have the audiobahn A8002T amp running to audiobahn subs( i know audiobahn sucks) but everytime they hit my headlights and interior lights go dim, does this mean i need a cap. to regulate the power or is it my battery? any help would be great thanks.

yeah man, that mean's it's pulling too much power from your battery. I'd get an alternator - from what i know it could jack up your alternator if you keep pulling like that on your battery

i mean i'd get a capacitor - my bad...you've got an alternator...wow it's been a long day at work...

no no no, get a High output alternator. a cap will just hinder your problems drawing more from the battery to charge it and still it will dim. you need 15amps every 100 watts of power. most stock alternators are 80amp youll want to go 140+ depending how many watts your using

So wait. I have an A8000T and I'm getting an A4002T, so how many Amps would I need in my alt?
