Gold Member Username: FishyTamarac Ft.Laud, FL USA Post Number: 1370 Registered: Sep-04 | Yes, you can hook each side up in parallel(pos to pos, neg to neg) and then each of these loads to one side of the amp. This is what each channel would look like: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/wiringwizard/2_4ohmSVC_2ohm.gif I don't know which amp you have but chances are you'd be providing each speaker 225 watts this way whch might be a bit much for them. If you're careful with the amp's gains and your h/u's volume then you can still do this however. Another option which would only get 1/4th the power from the amp would be to run one side of 6 1/2's in series to each channel like this: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/wiringwizard/2_4ohmSVC_8ohm.gif Each speaker would be getting around 55 watts this way which might be a bit "safer" I assume you're going to have one set of 6 1/2's in the rear and one pair in the front. Just realize with either of these setups you won't have the ability to fade between the front and rear speakers. -Fishy |
