I have a 2002 Silverado and looking into purchasing the MTX THUNDERFORM SUB BOX W/ 2-10 SUBS (paying ~ $300). Is this any good and what might you suggest I run to it? My amplifier budget is $300.00

-Should I keep my Stock Speaker or replace them with something else? What would you do?

-Should I run another amp to them too? What else would I need to buy?

Any suggestions? No hard feelings taken!

Respectfully,

I would get some new comps and put another amp to them...once you get the subs pounding in that cab your stock speakers won't be able to keep up and they'll sound like crap.

I have (2) Alpine type R's under the rear seat of my 2001 Silverado Xcab and I went with CDT CL-62's up front, didn't worry about any rear fill, and I'm happy I bought new all the way around.

An aftermarket deck will make the stock speakers sound better, but it probably won't keep up with your subs. I would do a KK sugested, get a nice component set for the front and a amp to push them. Then leave the rear totally disconected. I am pretty sure you will be pretty happy with that set up.
